TIFF, the Toronto International Film Festival, creates transformative experiences for film lovers, seekers, and creators of all backgrounds. As a nonprofit, TIFF must convince stakeholders to donate, allowing the organization to continue its initiatives and spread its message. This 2020 annual report was created with that in mind. The theme "Unscripted" reflects both the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ever-changing field of film. Considering that the pandemic generated unprecedented instability, this report positions unpredictability more positively, focusing on the flexibility and evolution of both TIFF and the film industry as a whole. The design of the report plays off the idea of a script, taking inspiration from screenplays, but it is less formatted to convey a lack of restriction.
